Food Banks, help curb Youth Violence, provide winter mittens to children in
need, entrance scholarships for high schools students, literacy through reading,
community BBQ’s and challenging youth problem solving using high school
Robotics program. Built computer
center for Seniors. In
the International Community. Co-sponsor
eye clinics in Jamaica along with the local Rotary Club.
Provide typhoon relief in Boracay,
Philippines. Support Rotary
Foundation that is working to eliminate Polio, fighting HIV/AIDS and land mine
removal. Why
should you support them? Future
projects could include twinning with an overseas club to provide villages with
clean water. Undertake community
projects for local needs. What
do you get? Your
donated item will be listed in the Scarborough Mirror with your company name.
The item and the donor will be recognized numerous times during the live
TV broadcast of the auction on Saturday November 24, 2007. During one of the 15 minute auction blocks, your item will be featured on Rogers Television Channel 63, with you being announced as the donor. As well, your item and name will be listed in over 100,000 Scarborough Mirror inserts distributed to homes in Scarborough delivered Nov. 21/07. Club
